The Battle of Wardhaven occurred when the Greenfield Confederacy sent six battleships into the Wardhaven system during a manufactured political crisis on Wardhaven. When the battleships jumped into Wardhaven space, Kris Longknife, who was theoretically under charges, rallied naval and civilian personnel to engage and destroy the battleships.
Tommy Lien was among those killed during the engagement.
